The 4th of July is a celebration that takes place on ,obviously, July 4th.  It is a very important celebration for us because, according to Wikipedia, “it is a federal holiday commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain”. Pretty much, it celebrates the day the USA became an independent country. In addition, 4th of July is also called Independence Day.

     During this day, we would usually celebrate it by going to a carnival or festival. While there, we would ride many attractions, have barbiques or picnics, and listen to music from a concert or watch a baseball game. At the end of all the fun, we would watch a fireworks show. There would be large fireworks, small ones, and they would all be different colors. All of the kids would hold sparklers which are shown above. We would swing them around, back and forth and have a blast! I love this celebration because it is so fun and it celebrates a very important event in the USA.

      I would like to go and celebrate the holiday called Boxing Day. According to Wikipidia, “Boxing Day is a public holiday in the United Kingdom, Canada, New Zealand and Australia, as well as many other members of the Commonwealth of Nations.” On this day, they give gifts to the poor and less fortunate people in their society. They usually celebrate it the day after Christmas. On December 26.  I think it is a wonderful thing to do because you are helping people and I would love to be a part of that and celebrate this tradition.

♥My top three favorite blogs would have to be my BFF’s. Farihah140’s, devonv140’s, and nataliaj140’s blogs are my most favorite blogs. I love their blogs a lot. Especially, their theme and their avatar. The avatars express them in a bunch of ways. Now I like many other blogs too, but the three I like the most would have to be theirs. According to Global Issues.com, almost half the world, over 3 billion people, live on less than $2.50 a day. 1 billion of them are children. Some of these children, who are at our age or even older than us, cannot read a single page from a book. Now we learn how to read as soon as we go into Kindergarten. All of these poor children are deprived from having any education. All of the money they have, they use it to get food so they don’t starve everyday. They don’t have enough money for healthcare or education. About 400 million people have no access to safe water and 270 million have no access to health services. We have everything here. We have freshwater, and abundant amount of food (some we throw away just because we don’t like it), healthcare, and good education.  We can all help stop poverty by taking our time and stand up against poverty! We can all make a difference just by giving a penny or dollar. You would be sure that one child can get food and some healthcare. We can also send old books to these poor countries. They would really appreciate it and actually learn something. They would feel special. It is an awesome way to help someone in need!

♥I live in the United States of America, specifically, South Florida. It is Southeast in the United States. It pretty much just sticks out. Florida is a peninsula. Well, anyway, everyday I have to go to school, obviously. My school looks big but on the inside, the halls are so tiny it is hard to get around with 600 other students trying to get to their next class. Other then that, my school is pretty good, especially when they teach us valuable skills because it really helps us for our state test called the FCAT. Now, if you visited South Florida, you have to visit disney world! It has five theme parks that are spectacular! I love going there. I go there every year to every single one. There is Animal Kingdom (all about animals), Magic Kingdom(All of the Magic is mostly here and so is Cinderella’s Castle) , Epcot (Outer Space, etc.) , and MGM Studios (The movie park)! Of course, at every park, Mickey Mouse and his friends are always there. Without a doubt, if you visit South Florida, you need to go up North, to Orlando and visit Disney World, the place with Magic!♥

♥To begin with, the main reason why I chose my avatar is because it is me! It expresses me in so many ways. For example, I am constantly on the phone talking to my friends. My parents would always get mad at me because they have to use the phone sometimes and I am still using it. Well, even when they are using the phone I would use my cell phone to talk to my buddies!There is not one day when I am not talking to them. Another reason why I chose my avatar was because it kind of looks like me and the outfit she is wearing is something I would definitly wear. Also her hair looks like mine. Now she doesn’t look exactly like me but she does express me a lot.♥
